Lecce, Espanyol, Galatasaray and Aberdeen want to sign Ianis Hagi in loan to buy deal, Rangers want £3.4m
Ianis Hagi has been linked with a move away from Rangers with three European clubs and Aberdeen credited with an interest, according to Sport Romania.
The Romanian international returned to the first-team picture after over a year out with a knee injury under Michael Beale, but struggled to make a real impact with limited game time.
His lack of minutes has alerted Galatasaray, Lecce, Espanyol and Aberdeen to a potential transfer, with a loan-to-buy deal mooted, but Rangers want at least £3.4m to allow him to leave.

“According to Sport.ro, the teams interested in the services of the Romanian player are US Lecce (Serie A), Espanyol Barcelona (Segunda Division, Galatasaray (Super Lig) and Aberdeen (Scottish Premiership),” they wrote (29 June).
“They would like to loan him for a season with an option purchase, and Rangers want 4 million euros in exchange for him.”
Interesting
As much as Hagi is loved by fans at Rangers, and Beale is an admirer, the club would surely be mad not to consider an exit of some sort this summer.
His best role is as a number ten or out wide, but the club are absolutely stacked for options in those positions. Todd Cantwell, Rabbi Matondo, Scott Wright, Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers, Kemar Roofe, Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence and Fashion Sakala are all still at the club.

While there’s no doubting he is ahead of some of them in the pecking order, it’s also certain he is behind a fair few too and to get the regular football he craves he probably needs to go elsewhere.
The club extended his contract last season as one of Beale’s first actions as manager, but if a bid comes in that allows the club to make some money then it would be silly not to look at it.
He may need to be convinced to move to those clubs however with a lack of European football on offer, but it’s certainly one to watch over the coming weeks.
