Nedim Bajrami's future will be one of the biggest question marks at Rangers this summer.

The Albanian midfielder signed for the Ibrox side in 2024 but has never really hit the potential that he had when he arrived.

His place in the side has been further reduced by Danny Rohl's arrival in Govan.

He has featured just nine times under the German, and not since the Scottish Cup penalty shootout loss to Celtic in March.

That has led to increased speculation over his future, although no concrete offers have arrived yet.

Ibrox News understands that Bajrami is happy with the Glasgow giants and is not seeking an exit.

What is the latest on Nedim Bajrami's future at Rangers

Bajrami has been heavily linked with an Ibrox exit, but Albanian Football believes that he will stick around this summer despite the speculation over his future.

Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, they relayed what they understand via sources close to the player: "He is happy to stay at Rangers for the rest of his contract as he is quite well paid.

"There has been interest from Italy, but he is not in a rush to go."

What is Bajrami's contract situation at Rangers?

Bajrami is under contract with the Gers until 2028, so he still has two years left on his deal, which he signed when he joined in August 2024.

The Gers are under no pressure to sell if they do not want to, and the player does not have to leave anytime soon.

Playing time could come into consideration, he may be able to significantly increase that elsewhere, but it sounds like he is satisfied with collecting a paycheck with the G51 outfit.

He may also fancy his chances of impressing Rohl, or a new manager if the German boss leaves, in pre-season.

No matter who is in charge, it seems as though Bajrami will be going nowhere in the summer window, if he has his way.

Things can change, of course, but right now, it appears that he will be staying put in Govan.

He is a solid player on his day, but so far, we have not seen that enough for him to justify a starting role too often, but he could be a rotational piece.
