Philippe Clement at ‘Rangers sack tipping point’ after loss v St Mirren
Philippe Clement is in deep water once again as Rangers lost 2-0 to St Mirren at Ibrox.
The Gers welcomed Stephen Robinson’s team in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday (22 February) and were beaten in front of their home fans.
Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya scored for the visitors in the second half to get the three points against the Glaswegian outfit.
Clement is already under pressure at Ibrox, and the loss will arguably only make things worse for him in the coming hours.

Billy Dodds expects Clement sack at Rangers after St Mirren loss
Billy Dodds expects the Light Blues to sack Clement after their loss to St Mirren.
The former Gers forward believes the loss to the Saints is the tipping point regarding the Belgian manager’s future.
Dodds feels the 50-year-old can’t continue losing games and keep his job in the Ibrox dugout.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound (22 February, 16:35), the 56-year-old said: “Where is the tipping point? The tipping point must be this game today if they lose 2-0. It has to be. [Clement] can’t continue losing games in the manner they’re losing them.”

Clement should leave Ibrox after St Mirren loss
Clement should hand in his resignation at Ibrox after losing to St Mirren and failing to close the gap with Celtic at the top of the table.
The Hoops lost to Hibernian on 22 February away from home, leaving the Gers with an opportunity to reduce the embarrassing gap at the top of the table.
Celtic have a 13-point lead in the Scottish Premiership, and while a win against the Saints wouldn’t have arguably made much of a difference in the Bears prospects to win the league, it would have helped Clement continue.
The Belgian manager is now evidently on the brink of being fired at the Glaswegian outfit, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Ibrox board make a decision in the coming hours.
Patrick Stewart held off dismissing Clement after being knocked out of the Scottish Cup, but the former Monaco boss can’t continue after another loss.
The hierarchy at the Gers should get rid of the Belgian manager if they don’t want to face the ire of the fans.
With the Light Blues’ domestic season seemingly all but done, it doesn’t make sense to continue with someone who arguably can’t bring the best out of the team.
