Four Lads Had A Dream has heaped praise on Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers after what he said in his pre-game press conference on Monday 13 May.
Dessers was one of the club’s better performers in the 2-1 defeat to Celtic on Saturday, as they conceded the SPFL title once again to their fierce rivals.
The club have already won the Scottish League Cup and still have the Scottish Cup final to come at the end of the month but after telling the media that it wouldn’t be a successful season to win the double since it doesn’t include the league, Four Lads took to their personal X account (13 May) to praise the forward’s mentality.
“Credit to Cyriel Dessers,” they wrote.
“Faced up today, answered difficult questions, didn’t make any stupid statements and said that even a double wouldn’t be a successful season.
“He’s been here not even a year and at least has the balls to play at this club. Felt for him today.”

When Dessers joined the club last summer and started off really slowly, he came under immense scrutiny from pundits and fans alike.
Plenty of people have called for him to be sold and moved on, but as the season has gone on under Philippe Clement he has got stronger and more influential in the team.
As it stands he has hit 22 goals this season, and his strike against Celtic at a crucial moment of the game showed that he is more than capable of performing in a top team.
He’s also now showing the mentality that fans want to hear and see from the team, bouncing back from being told he would never be forgiven for not performing against Celtic to becoming the top dog.
Rangers need more than him to become successful, but more quality players with his mentality is most certainly the direction to go in.
