Rangers are not yet ready to give up in their pursuit of Brighton and Hove Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry.

The Gers had a second bid for the 21-year-old rejected by the Seagulls on Monday.

Derek McInnes' side remain in the market for another wide player after a move for Couhaib Driouech fell through last week.

While Rangers have so far been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign Cozier-Duberry, they are not done yet.

But striking a deal with Brighton will not be easy as a new update is shared.

What it will take for Brighton to sell Amario Cozier-Duberry

Rangers are not alone with showing an interest in the Arsenal academy graduate.

According to the Rangers Review on Monday evening, the Gers remain in talks with Brighton

However, it will take a "significant" offer to lure Cozier-Duberry away from England's South Coast.

Exactly how much that is is unknown, but we know it will be more than the £7m offered.

As for the player himself, it is not known if he intends to push for a move following spells on loan with Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers over the past two campaigns.

If not Cozier-Duberry, then who for Rangers?

The same report adds that Cozier-Duberry is not the only name on Rangers' list of wide options.

The Light Blues have until 5pm on 3 September to conclude any deals - whether incoming or outgoing.

Fares Ghedjemis is another name that has been touted as a target for Rangers this window.

However, it has now been reported Ghedjemis will not be arriving at Ibrox this summer.

Links with former fan favourite Vaclav Cerny refuse to go away, meanwhile, and Kevin Kelsy - more of a centre-forward - is another desperately wanted.

For now, a deal for Cozier-Duberry - hailed a game-changer by ex-Arsenal coach Jack Wilshere - seems to be a priority for Rangers.

But if anything is to happen over the next fortnight, an improved bid needs to be lodged.
