The six players who could leave Rangers before 3 September deadline
Rangers are set for a flurry of transfer action before the later deadline hits on 3 September.
Thursday saw Min-su Kim accounced as a Rangers player at Ibrox, signing for £8.5million from Girona.
The Korean winger was signing number 12 of the summer, with Derek McInnes still wanting more before next Thursday.
Kevin Kelsy of the Portland Timbers is set to sign for £9.5m, with Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers spending huge again.
That begs the question, who will go the other way?
Nicolas Raskin is an obvious big-money candidate, but he could be one of many faces to pack their bags in Govan.
Who else could leave Rangers?
Scottish clubs have the added benefit of a later transfer deadline this summer, two days after English clubs.
The Scottish Sun has reported that it could be very busy for those packing their bags out of Auchenhowie and Ibrox.
With Kelsy set to become transfer number 13, bodies will need to be moved on for space and the wage bill.
Raskin is the obvious option and has been left at home as Rangers take on Jablonec in their crucial Conference League play-off on Thursday.
It's then reported that John Souttar, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron, Lyall Cameron and Ross McCausland could all be on the chopping block, too.
Derek McInnes could go even more ruthless in sales
Those six are mostly obvious and have been stories ongoing throughout yet another summer rebuild.
This has happened under Russell Martin, Danny Rohl and now McInnes, so it needs to work soon.
Djeidi Gassama is another possible exit to add to that six.
Rangers have rejected bids up to £5.9m for Gassama, but could accept if that figure rises over the weekend.
The tricky winger has started frequently for McInnes, so it will likely only happen if the offer is too good to turn down at this point.
At some point, Cavenagh and the 49ers will want some return for all the money they have spent.
That could come with silverware, or simply selling players if they don't deliver to recoup some big funds.
Right now, the second scenario is most likely, but now it's up to McInnes and his squad to change that.
