Jamie O’Hara fires Rangers dig live on air ahead of Man United – ‘No one cares’

Jamie O’Hara claims “no one cares about Rangers” ahead of their Europa League clash against Manchester United on Thursday.

With thousands of loyal supporters making the trip down to Old Trafford on 23 January, the talkSPORT host decided to throw out a foolish insult, knowing it would anger some travelling fans.

Philippe Clement’s side have a chance to advance straight into the round of 16, and all three points in Manchester could see the Light Blues move above their opponents in the table.

Speaking live via talkSPORT [23 January, 9:40am], Brazil said: “Jamie, what do you make of the Battle of Britain tonight? Or aren’t you bothered?

O’Hara replied: “Battle of Britain? What are you on about? No one cares about Rangers! Come on, mate. It’s a big game and Rangers have a good chance. Man United are terrible – one of the worst teams ever.”

Rangers to return to Ibrox with Manchester United victory?

Both Clement and Ruben Amorim are under pressure heading into the Europa League tie at Old Trafford, and the Belgian will be keen to get fans back on his side with a win.

The Gers’ form in the Scottish Premiership has been horrendous this season, seeing them fall 13 points behind their Old Firm rivals, which makes their displays in Europe all the more surprising.

After six matches, the Light Blues have the chance to gain automatic advancement to the round of 16 rather than fall into the play-off spots, which could see Man United fall instead.

Of course, it is a huge ask for an injury-hit squad to take on a Premier League outfit, though the Red Devils have won just one of their last eight games in all competitions.

The travelling fans will be expecting a rather exciting game under the lights at Old Trafford, and if they can return to Glasgow with at least a point, it will be an incredible European night.
