Alfredo Morelos should snub interest from Sevilla as Rangers is perfect for him

Rangers star forward Alfredo Morelos has been linked with a move to Spanish club Sevilla this summer, according to media outlet Estadio Deportivo’s report on June 22.

The Colombia international’s future at Ibrox remains uncertain as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

On the other hand, the Spanish club are keen to sign a forward to strengthen their attacking options after finishing the Champions League spots for the upcoming season.

Regardless of what Morelos decides, Rangers are in a pretty content position in terms of their attackers after the signing of Antonio Colak from PAOK.

The Croatia international has been signed for a reported transfer fee of £1.8 million from the Greek club following his great loan spell at Malmo.

This only adds to the project that Giovanni van Bronckhorst is trying to build at the Ibrox Stadium.

In the last two seasons, the Rangers have won the Scottish Premiership under Steven Gerrard and reached the Europa League finals under the Dutchman.

Therefore, it does not make much sense as to why would Morelos want to leave a club where he is the focal point of the project.

The fans love him, the players adore him and the manager is full of praise for him.

At Sevilla or any other club, he will be just another player, fighting week in, week out to cement a place in the playing XI.

Therefore, Morelos should clear all the doubts over his exit and commit his long-term future at the club.
