Antonio Colak signs contract at Rangers with announcement now coming soon

Antonio Colak has officially signed his contract to become a Rangers player, according to Georgios Sideridis.

The reliable Greek journalist has reported that the Bears are now set to officially announce the Croatian international as one of their own with everything looking done.

It brings to an end the ongoing saga with PAOK, who wanted to bring in a replacement for Colak before it was announced despite many things being agreed.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Sideridis shared the latest on the Croatian international as the deal finally looks to have been finalised.

“As I’ve been informed, Antonio Colak has went through medicals for Rangers today and signed his contract with the Scottish side,” he wrote.

“He is set to be officially announced soon as a Rangers player.”

There is nothing that can stop this deal now.

With the ink dry on the contract and the medical complete, all that will need to be done is the media side of things and then the business on the pitch can begin.

Once that is all done and the deal is announced, Colak will be in Portugal with the rest of the squad as he prepares for the new season and those Champions League qualifiers.

After all of the hiccups surrounding this deal, Ross Wilson will be delighted to get it over the line, and it would be no surprise if he has already moved on to other targets.

With Joe Aribo on the way out as Colak comes in, more funds will be made available for the Gers to throw money around and strengthen all over the pitch.

This one is on the verge of announcement, let’s hope it’s the first of many.
