Michael Stewart seems to have taken a weird swipe at BT Sport in his verdict on Rangers’ 4-3 win against Antwerp in the Europa League on Thursday.
Steven Gerrard’s men came from behind to secure a late win in a seven-goal thriller in Belgium.
While BBC Sportscene pundit Stewart was excited by the match, he weirdly directed his tweet at BT pundit Stephen Craigan.
Stewart tweeted vis his personal Twitter account at full-time: “What a game, Stephen!”
What a game Stephen!

At least you tuned in, Michael
We can only assume why Stewart aimed his tweet at Craigan because he was the only pundit on BT Sport 3 on Thursday night who hasn’t previously played for Rangers.
Ally McCoist and Allan Hutton watched the match in the studio while Alex Rae joined ex-Motherwell player Craigan as co-commentator alongside Rory Hamilton.
We really don’t get what the joke is meant to be here because another former Hibs player in Tam McManus also took an odd swipe at BT Sport for looking like Rangers TV on Thursday.
Did they want a Royal Antwerp legend on the show too?
There’s was some odd behaviour on Twitter on Thursday night but that’s nothing new from Stewart, a man who is so obviously has an agenda against the club he once failed a trial at.
He even called for a change to the rules of the game earlier this season when Ryan Hedges was sent off for Aberdeen against us.
Give it a rest, Michael. But at least you enjoyed the game. It must be great for you to see a proud Scottish club performing well in Europe.
In other Rangers news, fans slammed this Gers player for his “nightmare” of a performance in Belgium.
