Where Rangers hierarchy are right now after Jens Hjerto-Dahl latest as transfer advances
Rangers continue to be heavily linked with Jens Hjerto-Dahl with transfer talk in overdrive.
The Bears have already had a £5million-plus offer rejected by Tromso for their star midfielder.
Despite that, speculation hasn't gone away.
With Rangers also pushing ahead with their bid to sign Partizan's Vanja Dragojevic, it could be a double midfield deal.
Social media is always hit and miss for transfer gossip, but rumours of Rangers chiefs jetting to Norway for Hjerto-Dahl sent fans into overdrive.
As Dragojevic nears a move to Ibrox, will the Tromso man be following?
What's the latest on Vanja Dragojevic and Jens Hjerto-Dahl?
Ibrox News has covered that Rangers have had a bid over £4m accepted for Dragojevic.
With Rangers travelling back to Scotland from their Spanish training camp on Friday, business is ramping up again.
Rangers Review have shared that a move for Dragojevic is further advancing, with another midfield move still on table.
Could that be Hjerto-Dahl?
Well, it's reported that despite claims of an Ibrox delegation flying to Norway for the midfielder, the hierarchy are actually still in Spain.
That follows the additions of Cammy Devlin and Dan Neil already, with possible exits still on for the likes of Nicolas Raskin.
What next for Rangers?
Immediate focus will likely switch away from midfield and Hjerto-Dahl when Dragojevic is inevitably signed.
Olwethu Makhanya of Philadelphia Union is a prime target in the heart of defence, with Derek McInnes looking to bolster his wider squad.
John Souttar and Danilo are understood to be progressing exits, so that opens up more space to welcome new faces.
It won't be Hjerto-Dahl immediately.
But, with Cardiff also pushing to sign the Norweigian maestro, it'll be interesting to see if Rangers are forced into action.
It's very likely that one of Raskin or Connor Barron will need to be moved on before a move is made again in this area of the field.
That is possible though, with Italian interest growing in both.
Either way, the Rangers hierarchy are in camp with the squad, not jetting around Europe looking for their next smart addition.
