Jamie O'Hara shares instant reaction as Rangers on verge of seventh signing - 'Wow'
Jamie O'Hara has given his verdict on Rangers' latest piece of transfer activity.
The Gers have been very active in the summer window so far, having brought in six new faces.
Lawrence Shankland was first to arrive on a free contract following his exit from Hearts, followed by Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey and Ivor Pandur.
Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin are two other free agents to have arrived at Ibrox in recent weeks.
Plenty of others could yet arrive, with Ibrox News exclusively revealing Vaclav Cerny is available to Rangers for £8.5million.
But it is a deal for another player that is now close to going through as the Derek McInnes rebuild goes on.
Sky Sports share new update on Vanja Dragojevic to Rangers
Rangers have had a bid in excess of £4m accepted for Vanja Dragojevic, with the final touches being put in place.
Sky Sports News relayed that information on Thursday morning and added that talks are still ongoing to sign Jens Hjerto-Dahl from Tromso.
Dragojevic is the captain of Partizan Belgrade and is described by Sky as "one of the best defensive midfielders" in the Serbian top flight.
Former Tottenham midfielder O'Hara was listening in to that update live on air when he said: "Wow."
O'Hara did not add any more information, with the chat dominated by England's World Cup exit to Argentina either side.
It seems a deal for Dragojevic could be announced imminently, but Rangers will not be finished there.
What next for Rangers after Dragojevic deal?
As mentioned by Sky Sports, Hjerto-Dahl is also a player Rangers are actively trying to bring in.
The latest update is that Cardiff City had a bid for Hjerto-Dahl rejected, which ultimately could spell bad news for the Gers as it will only up his price.
Cerny could also yet return, albeit not for the current asking price, while Ryan Fosso is another name that has been mentioned.
McInnes is tasked with piecing all this together in order to turn Rangers into a force.
The arrival of Dragojevic will undoubtedly help with that.
