.Rangers are closing in on the signing of Vanja Dragojevic.

The Gers are looking set to continue their busy summer with the addition of the Serbia international.

The 20-year-old has been tracked throughout the window as just one of many targets at Ibrox.

Derek McInnes has already overseen six incoming deals after his arrival from Hearts.

Cammy Devlin is the latest as he made the same move as the manager, but could soon be joined in Govan by others.

Dragojevic could soon see a deal confirmed in G51 as we assess the next steps for the Light Blues.

When could Rangers announce Vanja Dragojevic?

There has been plenty of back and forth with Partizan surrounding the midfielder in recent days and weeks.

It finally looks as if the Gers have got their own way and made progress on a deal.

The Govan club are close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder and are expecting him in Glasgow for tests on Friday.

That will mark the closing stages of a £4.6million move before an announcement could be shared over the weekend or even into the early stages of next week.

It doesn't appear that McInnes and Co. would be done there, although further midfield additions may be on hold.

Who else will Rangers sign?

There is no hiding that a new central option was wanted at Ibrox this summer and Dragojevic appears to be that man.

Dan Neil and Devlin will also help pad out that area of the field.

However, the move for Dragojevic looks set to bring the chances of signing Jens Hjerto-Dahl to an end.

The Light Blues won't let that stop their work in the transfer market as several other options have been linked with a move.

Rangers are preparing an opening bid for Olwethu Makhanya of Philadelphia Union and are also showing an interest in Sheffield United striker Ryan One.

There are plenty of irons in the fire right now and there could prove to be several more signings at Ibrox before the new season begins.
