Vanja Dragojevic could be announced as Rangers finally return to Ibrox

Rangers finally return to Ibrox after two months away on Wednesday evening.

Derek McInnes will grace the home dugout as manager for the first time in Govan with his new-look squad.

Saint-Etienne are the opponents on 22 July, with West Ham United also due in Glasgow before the Scottish Premiership kicks off in nine days.

Rangers take on Dundee United at Tannadice to kick things off, with transfer business on the agenda before then.

Vanja Dragojevic is next in line, but for some reason, the Partizan Belgrade midfielder still hasn't been announced.

Ibrox News first covered on 17 July that the Serbian was due in Glasgow for his medical after a fee was agreed, but it's gone silent since.

What's the hold up with Vanja Dragojevic?

There are very little updates coming.

Rangers are said to have agreed a £4.6million fee for Dragojevic, making him their second most-expensive arrival so far when done.

But, the announcement hasn't followed Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin in bolstering the midfield.

It's taken that long that Rangers have been to Spain, completed a pre-season training camp with two friendlies, and come home since.

And now, they welcome Saint-Etienne to Ibrox.
