Rangers are still waiting to resolve the final details before signing Partizan midfielder Vanja Dragojevic.

The Gers have been heavily linked with the Serbia international for several weeks now but are yet to officially get a deal over the line.

Derek McInnes has focused on bolstering his engine room this summer, with Dan Neil and Cammy Devlin already signing for the Light Blues.

Dragojevic is set to be another solid addition to the Ibrox midfield, but fans in G51 have been made to wait for his announcement.

While the transfer for the 20-year-old looks all but done, supporters will still have some doubts until an official statement.

Certain factors are holding up the defensive-midfielder's arrival at the Govan side and it remains to be seen how long it will take.

Should Rangers be worried about Vanja Dragojevic hold-up?

Ibrox News have consistently covered Rangers' pursuit of Dragojevic, and the Gers have agreed a £4.6million fee with Partizan.

The Light Blues have faced delays in completing the midfielder's move due to "complexities" around it.

Joshua Barrie has reported that the Serbian international is yet to obtain a visa as he prepares to move to Scotland.

While the deal is taking time to complete, the reliable journalist has assured that there's no reason to be concerned.

Speaking on the Rangers Review on 20 July, Barrie said, "Our understanding with Dragojevic is that a few things are holding it up. One is that he has got to get a visa.

"There are some complexities around the deal which make it a little bit slower. Also, these things just take time, don't they? So that has delayed the announcement somewhat."

As Vanja Dragojevic announcement now imminent at Ibrox, what's next for Rangers?

When Vanja Dragojevic could be announced as new Ibrox signing

Rangers have made six signings so far, but McInnes is planning for plenty more additions to his team ahead of next season.

The Gers don't have much time left before the start of the season as they face Dundee United at Tannadice Park on 31 July in the Scottish Premiership.

There's a lack of depth in several areas of the Light Blues squad, but midfield isn't one of them.

The Glaswegian outfit have a couple of friendlies before McInnes' first competitive game as their manager.

Saint-Etienne travel to Ibrox on 22 July, and the Govan side hope to complete a deal for Dragojevic before then.

It feels like a matter of time before the seventh signing walks through the door.
