Tuur Rommens could force 'emergency' transfer at Rangers with Derek McInnes desperate
As clubs around Europe scramble ahead of their transfer deadline, Rangers have another 48 hours for their business.
There is still an air of urgency around Ibrox, though, after a dreadful start to the season.
Derek McInnes needed the 1-0 win over Aberdeen on Sunday, but Rangers are still five points behind Celtic and out of Europe already.
Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy is still set to sign for £9.5million, but the Bears are far from done there.
And with questions around Tuur Rommens' future, Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers could be set for some urgent negotiations.

What transfers could Rangers still complete?
Despite 12 new signings already confirmed, plenty more are expected.
Kelsy is set to become number 13 on Tuesday, with his medical due on 1 September after finally ironing out issues.
The Daily Record has reported that McInnes is still "desperate" for more.
It's said that after a dreadful start, the manager knows that only one more slip up could see his time at Ibrox come to an end.
But, with Club Brugge linked with Rommens, Rangers could be forced into the market for another left-back before Thursday's deadline.
Described as an "emergency" signing, it would only happen if Rommens left, given the earlier addition of James Penrice.
Who else do Rangers want?
A left-back that has been mentioned is Motherwell's Emmanuel Longelo, but that has been shut down already.
Realistically, Rommens shouldn't be allowed to go anywhere this late in the window, and he's injured anyway.
So, with Kelsy signing as the needed striker, another attacker is the most likely new addition between now and 3 September.
Amario Cozier-Duberry refuses to go away, with the Brighton winger still set for a loan exit.
Barring any last-minute twists like someone such as Rommens leaving, expect the two above to be the final pieces of action in yet another ridiculous summer of trading.
