Rangers rip away transfer red tape as Kevin Kelsy announcement latest revealed
Rangers are set to announce the signing of Kevin Kelsy on Tuesday.
The Portland Timbers striker is finally in Glasgow after a drawn-out transfer process continued over the past week.
Rangers have agreed a £9.5million deal to sign Kelsy, who will complete the final formalities on 1 September.
Derek McInnes has made it very clear he wants another striker, eversince Youssef Chermiti suffered that horrific knee injury.
And he's set to get his wish, with plenty of time to spare before the Thursday transfer deadline in Scotland.

What issues did Kevin Kelsy face?
This hasn't been a straight-forward transfer for Kelsy or Rangers.
It isn't the first time that the Bears have shopped in America this summer, with Olwethu Makhanya signing from Philadelphia Union.
Makhanya had visa issues that needed sorting, and the same can be said for the Venezuelan striker.
The Daily Record has reported in its print edition that Kelsy was held up in San Francisco en route to Glasgow because of a problem with his visa.
The newspaper states on 1 September that Rangers have solved that red tape, and the striker will be in Glasgow today, finally.
Completing his medical on Monday, the signing will be announced today unless any last-minute issues are revealed.
What's the latest with Rangers strikers?
Lawrence Shankland was the headline signing at Ibrox before McInnes, but he's been far from that so far.
Despite being named captain, the striker has been benched frequently already, with Ryan Naderi starting ahead of him at times.
Neither have found the net frequently enough, but Sunday could be a big turning point in this season.
Rangers travelled to Aberdeen days after crashing out of Europe completely, picking up a huge 1-0 win.
Shankland scored the winner from the penalty spot, with the hope that the season has exploded into life with Falkirk up next on Wednesday.
Rangers hope to have Kelsy available for that one, but Bojan Miovski is unlikely to travel, it seems.
Miovski has been linked with a move to Turkiye and the Netherlands before Thursday, so that domino could soon fall.
