Rangers manager Derek McInnes has revealed transfer talks with several players already since his appointment.

The Gers boss had his official Ibrox unveiling earlier this week, where he made bold statements over his plans to bring success back.

Ross McCrorie was announced as his first signing, joining on a three-year deal from Bristol City in an agreement that was reached around the £1.5million mark.

McInnes is keen to add even more defensive options to his ranks, with the need for more forwards and a new midfielder also there.

The new Bears boss did, however, state that he doesn't always get what he wants in transfer windows, but there will be optimism over the attraction that the club now presents to players after events in recent weeks.

Now, Ibrox News takes a look at who Rangers could sign next after McInnes dropped some exciting words on potential transfers.

The four signings that could follow after Derek McInnes' transfer claim

McInnes has already been talking about transfers at Rangers, claiming the club is moving in the right direction on a number of fronts.

The Gers manager said, as quoted by the Rangers Review: "We've tried to get a framework in place of what the squad needs to look like in terms of numbers and in terms of positions, and then just slowly but surely adding the names to that.

“There's several good conversations going on at the minute with a lot of players, a few players."

According to the Daily Record, a new centre-back is on Rangers' radar, with Dundee FC's Luke Graham once again coming into the conversation.

The Scot has long been followed by the Light Blues, but they face a host of Championship clubs for his signature.

McInnes' former Hearts warrior, Cammy Devlin, is officially a free agent after his deal at Tynecastle Park expired.

Rangers are still being linked with the Australian international, who will decide on his future once he returns from the World Cup.

The Daily Record have also reported that Motherwell's Elijah Just has the Bears on alert, especially after his recent goal-scoring antics at the World Cup.

Finally, Rangers have been linked with Hull City's Ivor Pandur, as Jack Butland could be part of a potential player-plus-cash swap deal.

The players most at risk from McInnes' comments

McInnes' comments heavily insinuated that he only wants players who know what it means to play for Rangers.

Unfortunately for some, there are still players in the Ibrox dressing room who arguably have yet to grasp that.

Oliver Antman is one of them, and though it's not all his fault due to injury issues, he's yet to make up for a lack of skill with clear passion and work ethic.

The same can be said about Mohamed Diomande, whose future looks bleak considering the club's plans to sign a new midfielder.

Rangers already have the likes of Connor Barron, Tochi Chukwuani and Nicolas Raskin ahead of him, which gives McInnes an easier choice to make this summer.

Either way, big changes are coming in Govan.
