Rangers 'going all out' to sign extremely dangerous Couhaib Driouech
Rangers are expected to pull out all stops to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech, sources have told Ibrox News.
The Eredivisie club are open to selling the Moroccan attacker after signing him for around £3million.
As for the 24-year-old forward, he's also open to joining a new club after two seasons with the Dutch side.
Driouech looks like a concrete target at Ibrox, but it remains to be seen whether a deal can be reached with PSV.
In the 2025-26 campaign, the left-footed forward made 29 league appearances for the Dutch side, which included five starts, scoring four goals and providing six assists.
The deal will certainly be one to keep an eye on in the coming hours, with developments coming thick and fast.
What Rangers could get in Couhaib Driouech signing
PSV have reportedly rejected Rangers' initial bid for Driouech, with the Eredivisie club wanting between £6million to £6.8m for him.
Soccernews.nl journalist Mounir Boualin, who broke the news of the Gers' interest in the Moroccan forward, has shared that "an offer of a few million" was sent from Ibrox.
Derek McInnes could be getting his hands on an exciting winger, who feels like a big-game player after some eye-catching displays in the Champions League, scoring three goals and two assists in seven games, one of which he started.
With the transfer journalist claiming the Glaswegian outfit are "going all out" for Driouech, his situation will be one to keep an eye on in Govan.
Speaking to Ibrox News, Boualin said, "He's a very fast attacker who is goal-oriented and extremely dangerous for the opponent on the counter. He performed particularly well in the Champions League last season, scoring good goals against Liverpool and Napoli, among others.
"PSV are open to selling him and Driouech is open to taking a new step in his career. Rangers are going all out for it."
What would Couhaib Driouech transfer mean for other Ibrox attackers
Daisuke Yokota became the ninth addition at Rangers this summer, with the former Hannover 96 right-winger moving to Ibrox for £2.75m plus add-ons.
Oliver Antman and Nedim Bajrami's exits have opened up space for further additions out wide at the Gers.
Ross McCausland is still at the Light Blues, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him seal a departure soon.
Findlay Curtis and Djeidi Gassama are the other two natural options on the wings at McInnes' disposal.
What the future holds for the young Scotland international will be particularly interesting to see if the Govan side sign Driouech.
It looks like Curtis and Gassama will be competing for a place on the left-wing, while Yokota and possibly the PSV forward will be in contention to stake a claim on the opposite side.
