Rangers contract priorities: Ryan Naderi and Derek McInnes favourite among them
Rangers may need to immediately sit down with some of their players to discuss new contracts.
Ryan Naderi has been in fine form for the Gers in recent matches and is finally justifying his £4.7million price tag.
The Czech Republic striker signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Light Blues in January 2026, but the club should look to reward him with better terms if he keeps this up.
Naderi has been an invaluable part of Derek McInnes' plans, as shown in the two recent games against Celtic.
It wouldn't be surprising to see interest from the top five leagues in the Germany-born attacker sooner rather than later.
The Glaswegian outfit may want to secure his future for the coming years and retain the 23-year-old's value before eventually cashing in.
Dujon Sterling another contract priority at Rangers
Dujon Sterling will enter the final year of his Rangers contract in 2027 unless the Gers tie him down to a new deal.
The right-back has had a well-deserved spotlight on him this season after playing a key role in the Light Blues' recent success.
Sterling has started 11 games for the Glaswegian outfit this season and he's clearly one of McInnes' favourites.
To avoid making any major decisions on the 26-year-old defender's future next summer, the Govan side should make him a new offer sooner rather than later.
Ibrox summer signing could be on the agenda
Naderi received well-deserved recognition for his work against Celtic.
After Rangers beat the Hoops 3-0 at Ibrox, Gordon Dalziel said: "What set the tempo for me, and I'm not his greatest fan, is Naderi. You see Cameron Carter-Vickers, all of a sudden, he's all over him.
"He wins the ball and Rangers get the goal. I thought Naderi's work rate for the team today was sensational."
The striker again set the standard for the Gers at Parkhead, but another player who received massive plaudits was Olwethu Makhanya.
There's already talk of the centre-back moving to a relatively bigger team in the coming months after bossing the Scottish top flight.
It would certainly be unconventional for the Light Blues to extend the defender's contract, which runs until 2030, after just signing him in the summer.
However, the Govan side may need to offer a lucrative wage increase to convince him to stay a bit longer at Ibrox.
