Nicolas Raskin may not be the only Rangers star to secure a move away this summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a big-money exit after his impressive performances at the World Cup.

Italian sides Atalanta and Bologna are understood to be interested, while Hull City have also apparently launched a bid.

Reports in England state that the newly-promoted Premier League side have offered between £12-14million for Raskin.

He may not be the only Ibrox ace to walk away before the new season, as Derek McInnes' squad planning starts.

Two more Govan players could be on the chopping block.

Who could leave Rangers with Nicolas Raskin?

After failing to win any silverware last season, and also not getting into the Champions League, McInnes could find himself with a bit of a personnel crisis on his hands.

Especially as Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack reported on Thursday that Jack Butland and Mohamed Diomande could follow Raskin on the way out of the Glasgow giants.

While it's claimed that their futures are "up for debate", Jack adds that the Light Blues are not under any financial pressure to sell any of their star men.

However, with Hull and Bologna pushing for Raskin's signature, it's clear that there's a chance Rangers' key players could look for a new challenge away from Govan.

That does not sound like those players are certain to be around when the 2026-27 campaign kicks off.

Why Jack Butland and Mohamed Diomande exits will be a blessing in disguise

The Gers supporters have wanted a new first-team goalkeeper for a while, so they may well be happy if Butland departs.

He is often accused of making too many mistakes, so if he moves on, it would not be the worst thing.

He is contracted until the summer of 2027, so either way, the club face a decision on his future shortly, whether they sell him or not.

Diomande is another inconsistent performer, who on his day is brilliant, but when he is not at the races, it is a completely different story.

If the Gers could get a decent fee for him, an exit makes sense, as there are better options out there.

The Ivorian is contracted until 2028, so McInnes' side have a bit more leeway with that situation than with the goalkeeping one.

It remains to be seen whether the duo move on, but it would not be the most surprising move, as it would add funds to the coffers and the players are replaceable.

The only concern may be moving too much of the old guard on so quickly, but only time will tell whether that is an issue or if the Gers can thrive with new signings.
