Jens Hjerto-Dahl has seemingly reiterated his stance that it is Rangers or no one if he is to leave Tromso this summer.

The Norway Under-21s international has already been the subject of a rejected bid by Rangers this window.

Cardiff City have also had an offer of £5.5million turned down by the Norwegian side, who are holding out for at least £7.5m.

That fee is not likely to be matched by any side, but that is not to say an agreement for a lower sum cannot still be reached.

One look at the youngster's social media activity on Sunday, however, suggests otherwise.

Hjerto-Dahl scored for Tromso against HamKam on Saturday, with interested clubs watching on no doubt taking note.

The midfielder posted a selection of images from that match on his personal Instagram story.

One of those, of himself and his teammates celebrating, included a small teddy bear emoji pretty much front and centre.

Rangers are nicknamed the Teddy Bears, so this could have been a not-so-subtle hint regarding where Hjerto-Dahl's loyalties lie.

That just further backs up comments made by the 20-year-old earlier this month.

What did Hjerto-Dahl previously say about Rangers move?

Speaking on the back of Rangers having a £5.3m offer turned down, Hjerto-Dahl told reporters: "I haven't thought much about it.

"It's been a week since the offer came and it was rejected. I accept that.

"Of course it's tempting to think about playing in an Old Firm match. It's a big and very well-known local derby.

"I've watched clips from there and it looks like it's a great match with great atmospheres in the stadiums."

In a separate interview, Hjerto-Dahl openly said: "I still prefer Rangers over Besiktas, but I am prepared for the fact that it could take a long time before a move to a new club is finalised."

It could not be more clear that Hjerto-Dahl's sights are set on Ibrox.

The only real question is whether Gers chiefs believe someone so young and untested is worth paying the full amount for.
