Jack Butland's top five Rangers moments ranked with exit on cards
Jack Butland is closer than ever to a Rangers exit.
The Englishman has been between the sticks for the Gers since joining from Crystal Palace in 2023.
He is often highly criticised for his mistakes, with Ibrox supporters often calling for him to be sold.
It seems like they will finally get their wish, as Rangers are edging towards a deal that would see Ivor Pandur join.
Butland will be heading in the opposite direction, as Derek McInnes reshapes his squad.
Ibrox News ranks the 33-year-old's top-five moments for the Govan side in his three-year spell with the club.
5. Triple award win after first season with Rangers
Butland would bring home three awards after his debut season with the Gers.
He won the Rangers Supporters' Player of the Year and Rangers Players' Player of the Year at the club's awards night.
He was also named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year.
4. European heroics against Sparta Prague
In Philippe Clement's early stages as manager, Butland kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw in a Europa League game with Sparta Prague.
That may not seem too impressive on the face of it, but the stopper made seven saves in the contest.
Sam Lammers and Danilo nearly scored, and that would have truly capped off the display from the goalkeeper.
3. Butland saves the day with Real Betis scenes
The Light Blues secured a 1-0 win in his Europa League debut in September 2023, and Butland played a huge part at Ibrox.
Real Betis pushed for a goal, but the Gers man kept a clean sheet to hand them all three points in the group stage.
He made a stunning seven saves in the contest, one of the finest nights of his career.
2. Rangers win Scottish League Cup against Aberdeen
Philippe Clement's side won the League Cup in the 2023-24 season, and Butland started the final against Aberdeen.
The Gers won 1-0 and while the goalkeeper did not make a save, he was still a valuable asset.
He commanded his area, claimed crosses and helped his team to control proceedings.
1. Penalty shootout heroics vs Fenerbahce
The Gers had secured a 3-1 win away win against Fenerbahce, but somehow threw it all away on home soil.
The Turkish side won the second leg at Ibrox 2-0, forcing a penalty shootout.
However, Butland saved Duaan Tadic and Fred's spot kicks to win the game for the Bears, securing progression to the quarter-finals.
