Esenler Erokspor and Fatih Karagumruk in Turkiye have also enquired about the potential finances of the transfer.

Now, according to STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj on 28 August, Swiss club FC Thun, Jupiler Pro League side Sint-Truidense and another top-flight team have expressed an interest in McCausland.

While the Northern Ireland international has plenty of suitors, no bids have been made yet for him.

It's worth noting that the transfer deadline is 3 September in Belgium, just like Scotland, 4 September in Turkiye and 8 September in Switzerland.
