Rangers must overcome a tough test away at Dundee this weekend if they are to return to the Scottish Premiership summit.

The Gers stretched their winning run to seven matches in all competitions - six of those in the league - with victory over Kilmarnock last weekend.

Ryan Naderi scored twice and Kevin Kelsy was also on the scoresheet before half-time as Derek McInnes' men showed no signs of slipping up.

That put the pressure on Celtic, who returned back to winning ways the following day with a 2-0 win at Motherwell.

Martin O'Neill's side retain a two-point advantage at the summit in what is shaping up to be another exciting title race.

But is there any chance of a Rangers slip-up this weekend?

Supercomputer predicts Dundee vs Rangers

McInnes could make some changes to his Rangers line-up this weekend as he makes the most of his squad depth in certain areas.

Dundee are in good form thanks to back-to-back wins, coming against Falkirk and Motherwell.

Steven Pressley's side are fourth in the Scottish Premiership, six points behind Rangers in what has been an impressive start.

However, Opta's supercomputer still makes Rangers the strong favourites at Dens Park on Saturday night.

The Gers are given a 57.8 per cent chance of winning, compared to 20.7 per cent for the hosts.

The draw therefore stands at a 21.1 per cent likelihood of happening.

What is Dundee's record at Dens Park this season?

Dundee are flying high in the league and have been beaten just once in four games on home soil.

Pressley's men have beaten Aberdeen and Motherwell at Dens Park, while drawing with St Johnstone and losing to Hibernian.

McInnes will not need telling that this will be a tough test for his players.

Even at this early stage of the campaign, Rangers cannot afford to slip up, with Celtic having a tricky showdown of their own at home to Hearts on Sunday.

That is the price Rangers are paying for a slow start out of the blocks, with this winning run now needing to be extended game by game.
