Rangers player rating vs Hibernian - Vanja Dragojevic struggles, Daisuke Yokota flourishes
Derek McInnes is still awaiting his first competitive win as Rangers boss following a 2-1 loss against Hibernian.
The Rangers boss made quite a few changes from Thursday night's loss, with Vanja Dragojevic being deployed at right-back following his brief cameo there.
Additionally, Findlay Curtis was brought into the line-up after a strong showing in Poland.
The Bears had gone under the cosh early, with a rather controversial penalty decision going against them.
It took until the final 10 minutes for the Gers to respond, thanks to a Hibs own goal.
Heartbreak would arrive in added time with Rangers conceding a late winner.
Vanja Dragojevic not helped by Derek McInnes selection
Dragojevic's deployment at right-back was a decision that quickly backfired on McInnes and that was evident early on.
Following Rangers going behind, the Serbian was quickly put back into midfield, with the Bears going to a three at the back.
While the penalty he conceded was extremely soft and an unfortunate decision to go against him, he was generally poor defensively anyways.
With just five duels contested, the 20-year-old managed to win just one of those.
And McInnes was clearly not happy with what he seen as he was pulled off after just one half.
Hopefully next time, the manager starts him in his preferred position.
Daisuke Yokota looking like early stroke of genius from Rangers
Daisuke Yokota was thrown into the deep end against Jagellonia, and it was not the greatest of showcases.
However, he was selected to start after only being brought to the Ibrox side a day before the game.
Now, with some more time to understand his teammates and train with them, the signs of why he was purchased are there.
The Japanese winger was constantly looking to beat his man, and looked to be Rangers' bright spark.
All his performance needed was that much-needed goal contribution.
Taking him off after 68 minutes seemed odd as he was the Gers' best player, but it may be down to him only recently joining.
And his replacement Gassama did manage to force an own goal for an equaliser at Ibrox.
