Rangers winger Minsu Kim made his full South Korea debut against Venezuela on Friday.

The young attacker got his first start for the Taegeuk Warriors on 2 October in a friendly at the Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium.

Starting on the left-wing, the 20-year-old lasted more than an hour before being replaced by Kim Tae-hyeon in the 67th minute.

Kim has impressed since moving to Ibrox from Girona and is now gaining recognition in South Korea.

The winger faced his teammate Kevin Kelsy as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

South Korea face Uzbekistan next on 6 October and Derek McInnes can then welcome his summer signing back in Govan.

How Minsu Kim fared in South Korea vs Venezuela

Kim is quickly becoming a fan favourite in South Korea and many admire the forward's confidence.

The young attacker hasn't looked out of place playing alongside a Premier League legend like Son Heung-min.

Joel Kim, the go-to source for reaction to the Gers winger in South Korea, said the ex-Girona ace was "cut above others" in his efficiency of movement on the pitch.

While the forward didn't get a dream start by scoring, he "looked bright in possession" and was solid during his time on the pitch.

As per Sofascore, Kim had 35 touches of the ball, 91 per cent passing accuracy, completed one dribble and recorded a total progression of 25.8 meters.

The winger also put in a defensive shift, winning two tackles, four ground duels, making one clearance and recovering the ball seven times.

Where Minsu Kim ranks in Rangers squad value

Kim's value at Rangers has almost doubled from £4.25m to £7.65m after moving in the summer.

The Gers have a strong squad valuation after their recent investment in the team.

Transfermarkt lists Emmanuel Fernandez as the most valuable player at Ibrox, worth around £13.6m.

Nicolas Raskin and Youssef Chermiti are joint second at £12.7m, followed by Kelsy, Kim and Badredine Bouanani, all worth the same price.

Andrew Cavenagh has made some astute recruitment decisions at the Govan side in recent months and it could finally pay off if McInnes can win the league title this season.
