Bojan Miovksi managed to make a short cameo in Rangers' win against Kilmarnock on Saturday.

The Bears beat Killie 3-1 in their return to action after a three-week break, extending their winning streak to seven.

Ryan Naderi and Kevin Kelsy were both on the scoresheet again for the Gers, with Derek McInnes' forward line currently in top form.

However, Miovski only managed to play two minutes off the bench, with his playing chances at Ibrox still not guaranteed.

This comes despite his late goal in the 1-0 win over St. Mirren in September, where McInnes later came out heaping praise on the forward, stressing the importance of his experience.

But Miovski may face a grim reality for Rangers, one that Hugh Keevins can't quite believe.

Hugh Keevins shares what 'amazes' him about Bojan Miovski

Miovski is yet to start in the Scottish Premiership since McInnes' arrival, and is currently limited to short cameo appearances.

The 27-year-old has played just 24 minutes in the league, though he managed more in just one game against Scotland for North Macedonia over the break.

The striker looked destined to leave Govan ahead of the deadline, parting ways with his agency after he failed to secure a transfer.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard after Rangers' win against Kilmarnock, Keevins spoke about Miovski.

He said: "Miovski amazes me; he plays for a country that looks like they have no football players at all.

"Miovski is the only North Macedonian player who looks like he can play football, but it shows how far down the pecking order he is."

Gordon Dalziel sounded astonished while replying: "Everybody likes him, but when these two strikers come back, [Youssef] Chermiti and [Lawrence] Shankland, he's the fifth choice."

Miovski is currently the clear third-choice option for McInnes up top, but as mentioned, it won't be long before he falls even further behind at Ibrox.

The former Aberdeen man once scored 16 goals in the Scottish Premiership and has clear qualities, but everything seems to be going against him for a starting spot.

Which clubs have been linked to Miovski?

Miovski could once again seek a Rangers exit in January.

Though Chermiti will not be back by then, Shankland is expected to return before the winter window opens, which will leave Miovski as the fourth choice.

If he does make himself available, he won't be short of interest.

Turkish side Genclerbirligi approached Miovski ahead of the summer deadline, but reports suggested that he was the one to pull the plug on a move.

Feyenoord and LASK were also keen, while there were also whispers of interest in Scotland.

There's a big chance that the North Macedonian will leave next year.
