Rangers injury news as late Dujon Sterling update emerges from Auchenhowie pre-Dundee
The Gers welcome Dundee to Ibrox on Saturday night with the chance to climb back above Celtic at the summit.
Derek McInnes has had to make do without key strikers Youssef Chermiti and Lawrence Shankland since the start of the campaign.
Cammy Devlin is another who has been carrying a knock, as has Dujon Sterling.
The latter managed just 45 minutes against Kilmarnock last weekend, leading to doubts over whether he would be ready against Dundee.
Well clarity has now been provided on the situation thanks to an update from Auchenhowie on Friday morning.
Rangers team news latest vs Dundee after Friday training
Sterling has already played more league minutes for Rangers this season than he managed in the whole of last season.
He was recently hailed as "brilliant" by Alan Hutton, and he is undoubtedly a key member of McInnes' squad.
So news emerging from Rangers' training HQ on Friday morning is good news for McInnes.
Speaking over footage of Rangers' players being put through the motions, reporter Luke Shanley said of Sterling: "There was a bit of concern at the weekend.
"But he's out there training. That's a positive for Rangers. They've had to manage him in terms of his injuries.
"Not having European football, that burden is not on him to play all the time. He's looking to make his 100th Rangers appearance this weekend."
So Sterling appears to be ready, and no new injuries have been reported, so how could Rangers line up against Dundee?
What changes could Rangers make vs Dundee
Sterling appears ready to play a full part against Dundee, so that should see the full-back come into the side in place of James Penrice.
There could be further changes, with Findlay Curtis potentially pushing for inclusion in place of Minsu Kim, who could do with a breather.
Otherwise, it may well be as you were as McInnes looks to continue building momentum as we head towards the next international break.
