Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, Sabah journalist Dogukan Yildirim revealed that while the Gers star has been offered to the club, they are not in a position to make transfers right now.

He said: “I heard a claim a while ago that Chermiti was offered to Besiktas through agents, but the club hasn’t confirmed the transfer.
“Also, Besiktas is currently looking for a new manager, so transfer negotiations are on hold.”

The Light Blues face a nervous wait to see whether the new Besiktas manager is still interested in Chermiti.
