Bojan Miovski set for international crossroads as Rangers future to become clearer
Bojan Miovski is part of the North Macedonia squad for the international friendlies, but the Rangers star’s future could become a lot clearer soon.
Under Danny Rohl, Miovski has often been utilised as an option off the bench rather than a bonafide starting player.
After the German took over, the striker started just nine games under Rohl in the Scottish Premiership, despite starting his first six league games in Scotland.
His lack of minutes at club level led to him directly being punished on the international stage.
Now, ahead of North Macedonia’s upcoming fixtures, Miovski could be at a crossroads, but that would make his future all the more clear.

Why Bojan Miovski’s future could become clear
Miovski will not be happy that he barely featured for Rangers, particularly as it started to affect his international stature.
With Rangers bringing in Lawrence Shankland, his minutes are now certainly going to be further reduced heading into next season.

Speaking during the March international break, North Macedonia manager Goce Sedloski went on a rant due to Miovski being unhappy to be on the bench but insisted it was down to him not playing for Rangers.
He stated: “Those players who play for their clubs have a greater right to be starters for the national team.”
“That’s how I picked the team for the Denmark game. If someone says they don’t want to play for us, it’s not me they are letting down; it’s their own country.”
“I would also add that the door is not closed to anyone in the future. But I make the decisions.”
Now, ahead of North Macedonia’s friendly fixtures, eyes will be on Miovski and to whether can starts for Sedloski.
A failure to feature from minute one may signal to the player that life elsewhere, in a team where he will play, is the best thing for his career.

Where does Bojan Miovski stand at Rangers?
As things stand, Miovski is undoubtedly the fourth-choice striker at Rangers, coming in behind Youssef Chermiti, Ryan Naderi and new signing Lawrence Shankland.
His game time is going to be extremely limited, and if he is snubbed once more for a starting spot against Turkiye later today (1 June), then that will only cement the fact Miovski might be better off leaving.
Miovski has been credited as one of the better finishers in Rangers’ squad, but his inability to impress Rohl has ultimately been the deciding factor.
If sold, Rangers will hope he can bring in a decent fee and allow them to invest in other areas of the pitch for next season.
