Bojan Miovski to push for exit as Danny Rohl eyes new look Rangers attack
Bojan Miovski has struggled to have the desired impact that Rangers wanted from him, and now Danny Rohl could look to cut ties.
The North Macedonian arrived from Girona with high expectations based on his previous spell in the Scottish Premiership.
With Aberdeen, the forward struck 16 league goals in back-to-back seasons but has now fallen down Rangers’ pecking order.
The arrival of Youssef Chermiti had complicated things for the striker, who has featured 42 times for the Glasgow outfit in all competitions.
Then, the signing of Ryan Naderi made it quite clear that Rohl was unhappy with his striking options. Now, with Rangers dipping into the market once more for strikers, Miovski’s time must be numbered.

The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
Why Bojan Miovski will likely seek Rangers exit now
Rangers are moving quickly in the transfer market to address their shortcomings from last season, with the Gers focusing on strengthening the forward areas.
Hearts captain and striker Lawrence Shankland looks Rangers bound, meanwhile former Gers man Joshua Windass has been tipped for a return.
| Scottish Premiership 2025-2026 | Bojan Miovski |
| Appearances | 30 |
| Goals | 7 |
| xG | 6.47 |
| Assists | 1 |
| Big chances created | 1 |
Windass, while typically an attacking midfielder, can also play down the middle of a forward line and could be an emergency option if needed.
Additionally, with Naderi, Chermiti and now Shankland coming in, Miovski would at most be a fourth-choice striker next season.
It is a far from comfortable position to be in, and sticking around to try and fight for a place, when the manager has already shown a lack of trust in you, would be quite a risk for his career.
Miovski, while featuring 34 times under Rohl, has only been handed 12 starts in all competitions.
The 26-year-old must surely be assessing his options ahead of next season and instructing his agents to line up a transfer out of Ibrox.
It would make sense for everyone involved at this stage.

How Danny Rohl could have the best striking options in Scotland
Building a squad with plenty of depth is important, but with a potential trio of forwards in Chermiti, Shankland and Naderi, it may be one of the best around in Scotland.
The Bears would have two of last season’s top five scorers up top, while Naderi, in his brief spells before injury, looked like he could cope with the physicality on offer.
While Naderi and Chermiti are both young, Shankland arrives with the necessary experience that could be needed to get the Govan-based club over the line next season.
Goals win games and winning games win trophies. Next season could be an exciting time for the Bears.
