Rangers to seal Mikey Moore return after Tottenham developments
Rangers may be able to tempt Mikey Moore back to Ibrox this summer.
The Light Blues ended the season in misery, though they will be looking to avoid a repeat of that next season in Danny Rohl’s second campaign in charge.
However, their ability to do so will likely be influenced by their recruitment this summer, with plenty of additions needed.
Moore was one of those who stood out throughout the season with his performances and influence in the final third.
And after Tottenham secured Premier League survival, we may see Moore back at Ibrox for another season.
🚨 RANGERS TRANSFER UPDATE 🚨
The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
Mikey Moore return could be on the cards
Had it not been for Moore, Rangers would have been out of the title race much quicker than they actually were.
The Spurs loanee registered seven goals and three assists in 25 starts in the Scottish Premiership, showcasing his quality.
| Statistics | Moore |
| Appearances | 33 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Assists | 3 |
| Shots on target per game | 0.8 |
| Big chances created | 7 |
| Key passes per game | 1.2 |
| Successful dribbles per game | 1.5 (44%) |
However, the fear was that Tottenham would require him if they suffered relegation to the Championship, while the optimism suggested he would be a squad player at best if they survived.

With the latter having come to fruition, there is every chance that Moore is afforded another loan move, and there will be no better place for him than at Ibrox, given the campaign he has had.
Lawrence Shankland will be hoping for Moore return
Lawrence Shankland looks set to sign for Rangers, becoming their first of many expected additions in the summer.
His goal record speaks for itself, with it clear that he thrives on good service into the box, and in and around the penalty area.
With 40 chances created this season, Moore is the perfect player to supply Shankland next season, and if that combination is to happen, it could see the latter break his goalscoring record.
