Rangers already close in on next transfer after Lawrence Shankland
Rangers are making their moves early in the transfer window, with Danny Rohl eager to get things moving before the World Cup.
Lawrence Shankland has already agreed upon a move to Ibrox, with the Hearts skipper finally set to join up with the Blues after years of speculation.
Danny Rohl was promised backing by Andrew Cavenagh, and the American will deliver with a bargain-free move to take advantage of Shankland’s contract at Hearts.
Incredibly, they won’t be done there either.
Rangers are getting their business done smoothly to get ahead of the queue, and it looks as though they won’t be stopping with Shankland before the window even opens.

Shankland has agreed terms with the Light Blues and is just a routine medical away from officially being announced at Ibrox ahead of jetting away with Scotland at the World Cup.
That sorts the striker dilemma out, but so much more is needed.

Now, the Scottish Sun has reported that Rangers are closing in on the signing of Dan Neil.
Currently a Sunderland player until June, the midfielder will become a free agent with his contract ticking down at the Stadium of Light.
Having grown up through the ranks in the North East, Neil was abandoned after captaining his side to Premier League promotion, and spent the second half of last season at Ipswich.
It is said he won’t join them permanently, and despite interest from Coventry, he instead looks set to rock up in Govan behind Shankland as a new arrival.
Who could leave Rangers?
With two new incomings already on the verge of completion, there will be a big turnaround at Ibrox.
The Bears tried to sign Neil back in January, so they will be delighted to get him and Shankland over the line for no official transfer fees.
But it does mean that players will need to be sold.
Nicolas Raskin is the favourite to take over as captain from James Tavernier at Ibrox, but the Belgian could also attract serious interest after the World Cup.
Miovski is an obvious candidate to leave, too, with Rohl clearly not a massive fan.
Despite Cavenagh’s willingness to open the chequebook in his quest for dominance, it has to be a two-way street, so exits may soon follow this possible double signing.
