Nicolas Raskin sends ‘thank you’ message as Rangers teammate bids farewell
Nicolas Raskin is among the Rangers players to have sent messages of goodwill to Jayden Meghoma following the conclusion of his Ibrox loan spell.
Meghoma joined Rangers on a season-long deal from Brentford in August and was instantly thrown into the side.
The left-back made 37 appearances for the Gers in all competitions, starting 32 of those, but he will not be staying on in Glasgow.
Meghoma still has two years to run on his Brentford contract, although it is unclear what the next step will be for the 19-year-old.
He was clearly a popular member of the Rangers dressing room, as his farewell message goes to show.

Jayden Meghoma sends message to Rangers fans
Meghoma had a rather mixed time of things at Rangers and it has long been clear he would not be joining permanently.
The Brentford defender had his strengths and also his weaknesses, which is always the case for young players.
| Jayden Meghoma | Rangers 2025-26* |
| Games (starts) | 29 (25) |
| Goals/assists | 1/4 |
| Clean sheets | 9 |
| Pass accuracy | 84% |
| Tackles per game | 1.4 |
In a message posted via his personal Instagram account on Thursday evening, Meghoma thanked the Gers fans for their support.
“It’s been a privilege to wear this badge,” he said. “Thank you to my teammates, staff and especially the fans for the support this season.
“Rangers is a special club and one I’ll always be thankful to have represented. All the best for what’s ahead.”
Raskin was quick to react to the post as he wrote: “Thank you, Jayden.”

Max Aarons, another Rangers loanee who is departing, wrote: “My brother.”
Bojan Miovski, Tochi Chukwuani and other Rangers players also left their well wishes on the post.
Where did Meghoma rank statistically among worst Rangers players?
The stats don’t lie, as they say, and Meghoma was Rangers’ worst-performing player this past season in terms of the numbers.
Meghoma scored an overall Sofascore rating of 6.65, which was narrowly worse than Miovski (6.69) and Mohamed Diomande (6.70).

As previously mentioned, though, young players are naturally raw and Meghoma was surely never expected to play as many games as he did.
The teenage talent will get better and better with age, and it may well be that he gets to showcase his talents at Ibrox again one day.
