Jack Butland sends farewell message as Rangers exit confirmed already
Rangers ended the Scottish Premiership season with a whimper, despite beating Falkirk 5-2 on the final day of the campaign.
Heading into the split, many had Danny Rohl and the Bears as slight favourites to lift the Scottish Premiership title ahead of Hearts and Celtic.
Instead, they went on to lose four of their five games and get nowhere near that.
To make matters worse, Celtic would beat Hearts 3-1 on the final day to lift the title and keep it in Glasgow ahead of next season.
Now, the dramatic changes promised by Andrew Cavenagh are already underway, with the first catching the eye of Jack Butland.
🚨 RANGERS TRANSFER UPDATE 🚨
The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
Rangers exits start already at Ibrox
Not many will know Kieran Wright, but the goalkeeper will leave upon the expiry of his contract in Govan.
The 27-year-old has been at Auchenhowie since he was 10, but will move on after spending some weeks on loan at Kilmarnock without making an appearance.
| Kieran Wright fact file | Answer |

Wright took to Instagram to confirm the news before the Ibrox club itself, with an emotional farewell penned to the club he has spent his entire career with.
Butland was quick to react in the comments, admitting that Wright was a joy to work with and that good things are ahead for him.

Who is next in line at Rangers?
Liam Kelly is another who could move on this summer after staying in the shadow of Butland, with Wright joining the likes of Robby McCrorie in leaving in recent years.
After his own spell at Kilmarnock, McCrorie joined Esbjerg in Denmark, with the possibilities seemingly endless for Wright now.

Next in line is likely Mason Munn to step up behind Butland.
The 20-year-old has spent time with Dunfermline and Forfar in recent seasons to gain that senior experience, and that could put him in a good position to make the step up at Ibrox.
Having tasted success in the youth ranks over Celtic, the natural progression is moving into the senior squad full-time and working closely with the likes of Butland.
