Nicolas Raskin’s absence could be masked Danny Rohl bust-up all along after James Tavernier news
Nicolas Raskin‘s suggested injury could all be a cover for another Rangers fallout at the hands of Danny Rohl.
The Gers boss has had a destructive two weeks or so to say the least, with defeats to Hearts, Celtic, and now Hibernian adding insult to injury.
Then news broke of Rohl’s bust-up with Tavernier, prompting the 11-year servant and club captain to storm out of Ibrox before his final home game for the Bears.
Despite returning to Ibrox for a presentation before kick-off, Tavernier didn’t feature on the night, and now questions may be raised about what else Rohl is doing behind the scenes.
Raskin has a suspected injury that has kept him out recently, but with little information regarding his setback, could it be another fallout, and the player’s second at Rangers this season?

What is being suggested about Nico Raskin?
Rohl could be sacked following the defeat to Hibs and on the back of the controversy surrounding Tavernier.
Everything always comes out in the end, though, as it’s likely that both will give their respective side’s of the story in the near or distant future.

Raskin missed the matchday squad against Hibs and hasn’t featured since the defeat to Hearts, with some now questioning what has really happened.
Given the 25-year-old has already been in one public fallout with a Rangers manager this season, the club could be trying their best to protect him from another.

Rohl clearly makes his feelings known in the dressing room, and some fans have suggested online that a bust-up between him and Raskin may have happened following news about Tavernier.
Is this summer the right time to sell Raskin?
Raskin seems to be linked with a move away from Gers every other week, but he is most likely the club’s most valuable asset.
The 49ers are said to be hoping to conduct a “significant” squad overhaul, and that could start with Raskin being sold.
The Belgian would most likely bank Rangers in excess of £20million, which would be crucial to fund whatever manager is in the dugout come the start of next season.
These suggestions could be utter rubbish, but is it really out of the question? Raskin does love the club; however, his sale looks like the best move for all parties.
