Thelo Aasgaard axed in two Danny Rohl changes – Rangers predicted XI vs Dundee United
Thelo Aasgaard could find himself on the bench when Rangers face Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The Bears trail league leaders Hearts by three points, and although Celtic are also on their tail, Danny Rohl‘s side can go top with a win ahead of the others playing.
The 4-1 win over Aberdeen before the international break has revitalised their Scottish Premiership title hopes, and with seven games to go, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will triumph.
When Rangers welcome Dundee United to Ibrox, Aasgaard might not be named in the side, with Andreas Skov Olsen taking his place.

Andreas Skov Olsen to replace Thelo Aasgaard vs Dundee United
Ultimately, the 23-year-old has thrived playing in midfield for the majority of his career, impressing at both Wigan and Luton in the EFL before making the move to Govan.
Despite this, the Norway international hasn’t shown enough promise to justify starting every week, and if Rohl persists with two strikers, he doesn’t have the quality required to thrive out wide.
According to Sofascore, Aasgaard has completed 70.5 per cent of his dribbles and has a pass accuracy of 85.4 per cent.
| Stat | Aasgaard |
| Appearances | 26 |
| Goals | 4 |
| Assists | 3 |
| Chances created | 20 |
| Dribble success | 70.5% |
However, Aasgaard hasn’t shown enough consistency when selected, and in the win over Aberdeen, he failed to deliver a convincing performance.
Therefore, he should be dropped for Skov Olsen, who hasn’t hit the ground running either, but he is a more natural fit for the system.
The other change would see Nasser Djiga make way for John Souttar, with the Scotland international providing more reliability at centre-back.

Other than those two changes, the rest of the team should remain the same, but it’s clear that a lot more is expected from Youssef Chermiti.
Youssef Chermiti can’t afford to go missing vs Dundee United
Eight of Chermiti’s nine goals this season have come against Hearts and Celtic, and although he relishes the big events, it shows how inconsistent he’s been in other areas.
He has been shocking against every other team in the division, and it’s still baffling that he hasn’t found his way against easier opponents.
The Portuguese striker has produced many magical moments this campaign, but it’s clear that he needs to provide a lot more week in, week out.

When the Light Blues host Dundee United at Ibrox, Chermiti can’t afford to be anonymous for another game against a struggling side.
If there is any time for the 21-year-old to rediscover his goalscoring form, it’s on Saturday.
