Rangers at centre of ‘urgent internal discussions’ as next Ibrox deal close
Rangers chiefs are working around the clock to bring in the striker Danny Rohl clearly craves before Monday evening’s transfer deadline.
Rohl has already confirmed more Rangers exits are likely, but it it ultimately now about making sure the squad is stronger come Tuesday than it was a month ago.
With three news faces through the door, there is still time for Rangers to bring at least one more new player through the door at Ibrox.
Joel Piroe continues to be linked with Rangers, with Paraag Marathe potentially having a major say in any deal.
But a move for the Leeds United striker Piroe now appears secondary to Ryan Naderi for Rangers, who have also rejected an offer for Youssef Chermiti.

Hansa Rostock backtrack on Ryan Naderi sale stance
Naderi was the subject of a £2.6million bid from Rangers earlier this week.
That initial offer was rejected, despite matching Rostock’s valuation and being a record sum for a German third-tier player.
Rangers turned to Piroe as a contingency for Naderi, but it may well be that a move for the 22-year-old is now back on.
As per the print edition of the Daily Record on Friday, Rostock may now be prepared to give the deal their blessing.
From being completely dead on Wednesday, it is reported that “urgent internal discussions” are now being held as their stance seemingly changes.
The report adds that, while Club Brugge have since stepped forward with an interest, Rangers’ offer remains the most lucrative.

And Rangers are confident that a deal will be thrashed out for one of Naderi or Piroe before the 7pm deadline on Monday.
Rangers exit also close to pave way for new striker
As the below graphic from Sofascore shows, Naderi would be the better option for Rangers on the face of it – albeit the figures are skewed by Piroe’s lack of minutes.

Rangers sent out a huge statement of intent when rejecting a big-money bid for Chermiti earlier this week.
While that was admirable, players do still need to make way to ensure the squad is not too bloated.
And it now appears Danilo’s exit could potentially be hours away as he is in the Netherlands to complete a move back to Eredivisie.
Should it be a case of Danilo out and either Naderi or Piroe in, that can be considered an upgrade and yet more ammunition for Rohl to go all out for Scottish Premiership glory.
