Danny Rohl reveals ‘brave’ Rangers player could be off in next 48 hours
Rangers are expected to be actively working the transfer market right up to Monday’s deadline.
Three new faces have arrived through the Ibrox doors this winter so far, with Andreas Skov Olsen, Tuur Rommens and Tochi Chukwuani bolstering Rohl‘s options across defence, midfield and attack.
Rohl is still yet to get the striker that he’s desperately been searching for, but Rangers are confident they will sign Ryan Naderi before the deadline.
Leeds’ Joel Piroe remains a possibility for Rangers, but it’s understood that the Whites forward is keen to stay and fight for his place at Elland Road, and so that one may need to wait until the summer.

Danny Rohl reveals exit timeline for player who starred against Porto
Attentions turned away from the transfer market on Thursday night, as Rangers were in Europa League action in Portugal.
Porto beat Rangers 3-1 at the Estadio Do Dragao, as Francesco Farioli’s side secured automatic qualification into the round of 16, whilst the Gers already knew their fate before kick-off.
Rohl still fielded a strong starting XI despite his side already knowing that they wouldn’t be qualifying for the knockout stages, but he did hand an opportunity to 19-year-old winger Findlay Curtis.
It had looked as though Curtis would be joining Kilmarnock on loan, with numerous reports stating that it was all but a done deal up to a week ago, but nothing has materialised so far.

Rohl gave him 70 minutes against Porto on Thursday, in which he was able to grab the assist for Djeidi Gassama’s goal, and put in an impressive overall performance.
Speaking on Curtis’ performance and his transfer status ahead of the deadline, via the Daily Record, Rohl made it clear that a decision is coming on where he’ll be playing his football for the rest of the season.
“I want to praise Findlay. He understood my words to him two and a half weeks ago when we spoke honestly about where I see him,” Rohl said.
“Since then, he’s had exactly the right mindset. Today, he was brave and nice in possession. We’ll make a decision in the next couple of days on him but we need to look at the bigger picture. It’s about game time.
“It doesn’t matter what we decide – he’s on the right track.”
Rohl may want to keep Curtis around after Porto show
Curtis has been a semi-regular fixture in Rangers’ first-team squad this season, having made 21 appearances in all competitions so far.
However, just 10 of those have came in the Premiership, with just the one being as a member of the starting lineup.
But, he’s clearly a talent that many around Ibrox rate very highly, and his performance against Porto certainly shows why he’s held in high regard in Glasgow.

Rohl does have plenty of options out wide in his squad currently, and a loan move for Curtis certainly has the potential to be highly beneficial.
It will be interesting though to see if he’s played his way into Rohl’s thinking with that showing on Thursday, and whether he’s now been bumped up in the pecking order as such.
