Clinton Nsiala to hold Ibrox meeting as Rangers confirm starting XI vs Kilmarnock

Clinton Nsiala might as well keep his bags packed ahead of January as Rangers face Kilmarnock in the William Hill Premiership on Saturday.

Danny Rohl’s team travel to Rugby Park on 6 December as they look to get back to winning ways after two back-to-back draws.

Nedim Bajrami’s last-minute equaliser secured a point against Dundee United at Tannadice Park, and the travelling fans will now hope for a much better performance.

With the Gers struggling to score goals in recent weeks, the German manager was expected to make attacking changes in East Ayrshire and has done so by dropping Danilo.

Danny Rohl makes two changes in Rangers starting lineup vs Kilmarnock

James Tavernier has dropped to the bench for the Gers on their trip to Rugby Park.

The Ibrox faithful haven’t been pleased with the Light Blues’ defensive performances of late, but Max Aarons’ inclusion at right-back won’t settle any nerves.

Nasser Djiga and Emmanuel Fernandez keep their place in the starting lineup over Nsiala despite their underwhelming performances of late, and the French defender will arguably have every right to ask for a meeting with Rohl in Govan ahead of the winter transfer window.

Mohamed Diomande returns to the team in place of Danilo, and it looks like he’ll be playing as the number 10, with Nedim Bajrami and Djeidi Gassama out wide.

Rohl admitted in his pre-Kilmarnock press conference that Moore would be available, and the Tottenham loanee is on the bench.

With Killie placed towards the bottom of the table, the former Sheffield Wednesday boss will surely put himself under pressure if the Glaswegian outfit don’t get the win.

Ibrox faithful will be confident after what they’ve done against Kilmarnock

Rohl still has hopes of competing for the William Hill Premiership, but the Gers will need to be perfect at Rugby Park to seize an advantage.

Hearts take on Celtic at Parkhead on 7 December, and Rangers will see one or both of their title rivals drop points.

The Light Blues can temporarily close the gap at the top of the table to six points, and it’s surprising to see them still be in contention after an abysmal start to the season under Russell Martin.

Fans in G51 will hope the German manager’s changes will translate to a much-needed victory against Kilmarnock, who have won just twice in their last 14 meetings with the Gers.
