Rangers rescued a late 2-2 draw against Dundee United thanks to Nedim Bajrami's penalty on Wednesday.

Rangers had the worst possible start as Zac Sapsford put the ball into the net with a cool dink over Jack Butland after an impressive run.

However, Jayden Meghoma levelled the score shortly after with a fantastic shot from 30 yards that buried into the corner of the net.

From here, Rangers continued to create, but were unable to put the ball into the net. Then, Amar Fatah restored Dundee United’s lead midway thought the half with a great finish.

However, a foul on Max Aarons allowed Bajrami to convert from the spot in added time to earn a point. However, it is now back-to-back games without a win after the 0-0 draw with Falkirk on the weekend.

Jayden Meghoma highlight for Rangers vs Dundee United

While there were few highlights for Rangers in the draw, Meghoma was a bright spark.

Meghoma has been consistently criticised at Ibrox since his move to the Gers in the summer for a mixed set of performances.

However, against Dundee United, he was one of the few who put in a bright display.

The full-back scored a wonderful goal to equalise and rarely gave the ball away.

Meghoma was also solid defensively, making numerous clearances and did not deserve to be on the losing side.

Bojan Miovski ghosts again for Rangers

The striker has only netted once in the Scottish Premiership, in what has been an awful start to his Ibrox career.

Nevertheless, he was given the nod to start against Dundee United, and did nothing to reward Rohl’s faith.

Despite the chances Rangers were creating, Miovski was nowhere to be seen and ghosted for the majority of the game.

With the Gers desperate for more goals, the striker seems simply incapable of finding the back of the net.
