Bojan Miovski absolutely wonderful, 4/10 disappoints again – Rangers player ratings vs Kilmarnock

Rangers returned to winning ways at Rugby Park as they overcame Kilmarnock 3-0 on Saturday.

After a scrappy start, Bojan Miovski opened the scoreline with a toe-poked finish just after the 30-minute mark.

The striker then doubled his tally early in the second half with a lovely side foot into the net, with subsitute Mikey Moore then adding to Rangers’ tally with 10 minutes to go after a fantastic run.

From here, Rangers saw out the remaining minutes as they bounced back from their 2-2 draw with Dundee United in style.

Bojan Miovski finally takes his chance for Rangers

Plenty of criticism has been directed at Miovski since his move to Rangers.

The striker had only netted once in the Scottish Premiership going into the game and had looked blunt for weeks.

Against Dundee United, Miovski ghosted throughout and made barely any impact.

However, against Kilmarnock, he was easily the star man, with both of the attacker’s goals expertly taken.

His first was arguably the most impressive as he took advantage of the chaos inside the box to catch the keeper off guard with a wonder toe-poke.

Hopefully, this is the start of Miovski regaining his confidence so he can find the net consistently in Scotland once again.

Nasser Djiga continues to look shaky

Despite the positives of the performance, Rangers were perhaps lucky not to concede.

The visitors continued to look shaky at the back, with Nasser Djiga the worst culprit.

Every time a long ball was sent forward, the backline did not look like they knew how to deal with it.

Djiga remained indecisive, which the Kille attackers were more than happy to take advantage of.

While they did manage to hang on to keep a clean sheet, it remained a disappointing performance from the centre-back.
