Tam McManus in terrible Rangers pot shot as Ibrox turnaround expected
Hibernian should be above Rangers in the William Hill Premiership, Tam McManus says.
The ex-Hibs forward expected more from David Gray’s team, who are currently fifth in the table after winning just two of their last six league matches, sitting two points behind Gers.
Danny Rohl failed to get the better of Jim Goodwin at Tannadice Park, with the Light Blues scraping a point in the final minutes of the 2-2 draw.
Russell Martin went off to one of the worst league starts at Ibrox before being replaced by the German manager, yet it doesn’t seem like any of the teams apart from Hearts have taken advantage of that crisis.

Rangers have January transfer window priority
McManus believes Hibernian’s current squad is better than the Gers, but that may not be the case for long.
The Scotsman expects the Light Blues to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window, and it will be interesting to see how they go about their business at Ibrox in January.
McManus feels Hibs are not living up to expectations in the current campaign, taking a seeming dig at the Glaswegian outfit in the process.
The ex-Hibs ace wrote in the Daily Record on 4 December: “Hibs are underachieving right now, and there’s a clear marker that proves it — they’re behind Rangers. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind the squad of players at Easter Road is stronger than the pool available to Rohl.”
McManus added: “They should be doing better with the squad they have, simple as that. Here’s the thing though, at some point you have to expect Rangers will get their act together. It might be the January window.”
Rohl has suffered a significant blow with draws against Falkirk and Dundee United, failing to close the gap with Hearts, who have seen a dip in form recently.
Ibrox overhaul to see six players leave in January
Ibrox News understands Youssef Chermiti is attracting interest from Braga, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Gers cut their losses on the former Everton ace, who has struggled this season.
Nasser Djiga’s performances may also see Rangers cut short his loan spell from Wolves and go on to sign a different centre-back in the coming weeks.

Rabbi Matondo and Kieran Dowell are clearly surplus to requirements at the Light Blues and should pack their bags.
Lyall Cameron and Findlay Curtis could potentially look for loan moves after struggling for opportunities under Rohl, with developments in January certainly worth keeping an eye on.
