Rangers duo January exit set in stone as Danny Rohl errors come to bite vs Dundee United

Danny Rohl seems to have come to the end of his honeymoon period at Rangers as Falkirk and Dundee United hand him a reality check in the William Hill Premiership.

John McGlynn’s team secured a point at Ibrox in the 0-0 draw on 30 November, with the Gers lacking firepower.

Rohl then drew at Tannadice Park, with the Tangerines almost on course for victory if it weren’t for Nedim Bajrami’s penalty in the final minutes of the game on 3 December that ended 2-2.

While the players have to take responsibility, it’s also down to the German manager to select his best personnel, which he arguably hasn’t been doing since replacing Russell Martin.

Lyall Cameron and Findlay Curtis to leave Rangers in winter transfer window

Lyall Cameron and Findlay Curtis must be wondering what they’ve done wrong to be snubbed by Rohl at the Gers.

The duo have hardly seen any minutes at the Light Blues since the German manager’s arrival at Ibrox, suggesting they are surplus to requirements.

At this point, the best option for both of them would be to leave the Glaswegian outfit to continue their development elsewhere.

If the former Sheffield Wednesday boss doesn’t trust the two Scottish youngsters, then it wouldn’t be surprising to see them be part of the squad overhaul in January.

Cameron seems to have been completely sidelined by Rohl, which will be a cause for concern for the 23-year-old midfielder.

As for Curtis, the 19-year-old hasn’t been given the opportunities to stake a claim in the team despite a strong start to the season.

Danny Rohl favouritism will be the end of him at Ibrox

Youssef Chermiti has shown time and again that he isn’t reliable at Ibrox, yet the 21-year-old still has a place in Rohl’s plans.

Rangers should’ve arguably beaten Dundee United, considering the number of clear-cut chances they created, with the Portugal Under-21 international passing up a gilt-edged opportunity.

Another player who seemingly can do no wrong at the Gers is Thelo Aasgaard, who has brought nothing to the team since his move from Luton Town.

Chermiti and the Norway international came on as substitutes at Tannadice Park while Cameron and Curtis stayed on the bench, something the German manager should be questioned about.
