Oliver Antman handed a month to save Rangers career amid worrying Mikey Moore news
Oliver Antman may now have a chance to save his Rangers career after Mikey Moore picked up an injury on international duty.
Danny Rohl faces an injury crisis at the Gers after numerous players came back from the break with knocks.
Moore had finally started to shine at Rangers since Russell Martin’s sacking, and scored in the 3-0 victory over Dundee earlier this month.
However, Rohl has now confirmed that Moore has been ruled out of their upcoming fixtures after picking up a knock for England’s Under 19s.

Mikey Moore injury gives an opportunity for Oliver Antman
In his press conference on 21 November, Rohl confirmed to BBC Sport on 21 November that Moore and John Souttar had a muscle injury.
He said: “John and Mikey, I hope at the end of December. But it’s a muscle injury, it could be 25 days, it could be 40 days. You never know.”
However, while this is a disaster for Moore, who was finally hitting form at Ibrox, it could be a massive opportunity for Antman.
The Finnish international has struggled for minutes since Rohl’s arrival, and is often seen on the bench.
- Antman was signed from Go Ahead Eagles in the summer
- The winger had a fantastic Rangers debut, collecting two assists against Viktoria Plzen
- However, since then Antman has struggled and has often featured on the bench
This has increased speculation regarding Antman’s future at Ibrox, with the winger previously expressing his desire to play in Spain in the future.
On top of this, Rangers have been linked with wingers ahead of the January transfer window, only heightening this speculation.
Now, given Moore’s injury, Antman could return to the lineup, in what may be his last chance to save his Ibrox career.

If the Spurs loanee is out until January, this could potentially give Antman 10 games to prove why he should be in Rohl’s plans.
However, if he continues to underperform, he will surely be moved on in January.
Antman had performed well in the international break
Unlike many of Rangers’ stars, Antman is without an injury coming back from the international break.
The winger was in Finland’s squad as they saw out their final World Cup qualifiers.
Here, Antman impressed for Finland, with the Rangers star picking up a goal and an assist during their 4-0 win over Andorra in a friendly match.
Hopefully, if the attacker is given the nod against Livingston, he can use this form as momentum to finally get a goal for the Gers.
