Danny Rohl could call on forgotten Rangers player as images emerge from Auchenhowie

Danny Rohl could see his squad bolstered for Rangers’ clash with Livingston this weekend amid fresh images shared from Auchenhowie.

The Gers host Livingston at Ibrox on Saturday – a home fixture they have never lost in their history – as Rangers look to build on their 3-0 win over Dundee prior to the international break.

Rohl as plenty of big Rangers selection calls to make, and that could be made all the more difficult as a number of players have returned to training over the two-week hiatus.

Dujon Sterling now appears to be ready for a Rangers comeback, as do a couple of others teammates.

Rabbi Matondo spotted back in Rangers training

Rabbi Matondo can be forgiven as being a forgotten man at Rangers given just how long he has missed.

Many expected Matondo to be on his way out of Rangers in the summer, but he instead remained and has been working his way back to fitness.

Images shared by Rangers’ official X account on Tuesday showed Matondo taking part in training, along with Sterling and Kieran Dowell.

It may well be that the trio are now called upon by Rohl when Rangers welcome Livingston to Ibrox this weekend.

Matondo has not featured in a Rangers squad at all this season, with his most recent appearance of any sort being a one-minute cameo for Wales against Belgium in June.

In fact, Matondo has not played for Rangers since 9 January this year, having been sent on loan to Hannover for the second half of last season.

Rangers boast incredible record vs Livingston

Rohl will be extremely confident of making it four wins from four in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.

Rangers have never lost in 25 previous home games against Livingston in all competitions, winning all but three of those.

That, unsurprisingly, is the most times they have faced a side at Ibrox without ever losing.

Livingston have lost 20 of their past 22 meetings with Rangers in all competitions, meanwhile, since a 1-0 league win in September 2018.

This is not quite a home banker – certainly with this current crop of Rangers players – but this is as close to one as it comes.
