Sky Sports reporter shares ‘incredible’ Russell Martin view from outside Ibrox
Rangers fans have had enough of Russell Martin as manager.
Martin was subject to loud boos against Hearts as Rangers fans vocally voiced their frustration after another poor performance.
The Union Bears have confirmed they will protest outside Ibrox before the game against the ownership and manager.
A bad result against Hibs on Saturday could make things even worse, with fans reaching boiling point with what they’re seeing.

Russell Martin facing ‘incredible’ pressure at Ibrox
Martin could be in charge of Rangers for the final time on Saturday if his side fails to beat Hibs at home.
Sky Sports reporter Gordon Duncan was speaking on Friday morning and detailed the toxic atmosphere that was present at Ibrox last time out against Hearts.
He said live on Sky Sports News: “You look at the atmosphere last weekend against Hearts, capping off Rangers’ worst start to a season in 47 years, and it was incredible the level of hatred towards Russell Martin.”
Duncan also highlighted some of the abuse hurled at Martin
“There were various chants for him to lose his job, and it was extremely loud,” he said. “Many felt that was the final straw, but the board made it clear via stories that they were backing Martin.”
Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers have back Martin, but that could all change if we see similar scenes in the stands on Saturday.

Andrew Cavenagh needs to take accountability for Russell Martin disaster
Cavenagh has to hold ultimate responsibility for the ongoing turmoil under Martin’s management.
When Martin was appointed in the summer, it raised plenty of eyebrows among the Rangers’ supporters. The board backed him heavily too, splashing out over £20 million in the transfer market.
But Martin’s time in charge has been nothing short of a disaster. Performances have been poor, results even worse, and it’s now clear the hierarchy got this one badly wrong.

Unless the board acts quickly, the anger inside Ibrox will only grow louder. Supporters won’t sit quietly while the season slips away, and the protests will keep building.
If Cavenagh and the rest of the board want any chance of salvaging the campaign – and their own credibility – there’s only one option left: sack Martin and bring in a manager capable of turning this around.
