Speaking on Go Ballistic on 15 September, Boyd said: "The manager is getting it right now, but there will come a stage they forget the manager because to them he's finished anyway. Then all of a sudden it's Stewart that's got to answer questions. Then it's Thelwell. Then Cavenagh will be brought into it as well. And the last thing you want as owners of a football club is for you to get it."
