Rangers news round-up: Russell Martin sent clear demand as player’s fears could be realised
Russell Martin is under huge pressure from Rangers fans after a woeful start to the season, and some of his players could turn on him.
Rangers are yet to win in four league games under Martin, with the International break coming at the perfect time for the under-fire manager.
The Rangers players have also disappointed, despite a lot of new signings coming in, and director Kevin Thelwell is now also being scrutinised over some of his deals.
It is an unhappy camp at Rangers right now, and this has extended into some of the players’ form on International duty.

Bojan Miovski better than Celtic signing
Rangers pulled off one of their smarter deals late in the window as Bojan Miovski was brought to Ibrox from Girona, seeing him return to Scotland after one year away.
Miovski previously shone in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen, and arrives at Ibrox as a proven goalscorer upfront.
Derek Ferguson has now claimed that Miovski is better than new Celtic signing Kelechi Iheanacho, who joined on a free transfer from Sevilla in recent days.

Derek Cornelius Rangers motivation revealed
Rangers completed the signing of Marseille defender Derek Cornelius on transfer deadline day, with the centre-back joining on loan with an option to buy.
Cornelius arrives as a 35-cap Canada international, and his reason for joining Rangers has now become clear.
Ewan Sharp, who works in the backroom staff for the Canada National Team, has explained that Cornelius needs to be playing regularly ahead of the World Cup next year, and starting every week at Rangers should hopefully boost his confidence.
Nicolas Raskin fears becoming true
Nicolas Raskin has had a tough few weeks after being dropped by Martin, and the midfielder almost departed during the transfer window.
To the relief of Rangers fans, Raskin remained at Ibrox, but his lack of minutes in recent weeks has impacted his National Team chances.
Raskin was an unused substitute for Belgium, and this may mean his fears that his struggles at Rangers could impact his World Cup chances may come true.

Barry Ferguson calls for Russell Martin to use asset
Martin succeeded Barry Ferguson in the summer, but the former Rangers interim boss had some words of advice for the manager over Raskin.
Ferguson has now claimed that Martin and Raskin simply need to find a way to reintegrate back into the team, as the Belgian is too good and too valuable to not be in this side.
Raskin thrived under Ferguson, but his struggles under Martin are a key reason why the manager is so unpopular among Rangers fans.
